Cashier/Prep Food

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, sales support, cash handling, bussing, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Support sales efforts by taking customer orders and processing transactions accurately
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Clear tables and clean dining areas to ensure a clean and organized environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations and timely service

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell products and provide recommendations
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is beneficial
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing calculations is an advantage
