Pay starting at $8 per hour and goes up to $10 per hour depending on experience and availability.
Duties:
-Prepare and create a variety of ice cream flavors and desserts according to established recipes and guidelines
-Operate ice cream machines and equipment
-Maintain inventory of ingredients, toppings, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels
-Clean and sanitize work area, equipment, and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
-Assist with customer service duties such as taking orders, serving customers, and providing product recommendations
-Upsell additional products or toppings to enhance the customer experience
-Follow food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of the products
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with coworkers
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
