We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Office Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support along with cahiering for all walk-in customers to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, very organized and the ability to multitask effectively, in a scrapyard envirnment.
```Responsibilities```
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person, schedule pick ups, give current pricing for materials.
-Experience money handeling / cahiering.
-Bookkeeping knowledge - ability to learn new software
- Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.35 - $18.53 per hour
