We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience. If you have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with people, and have a passion for retail, we would love to hear from you!
Duties:
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products or answering their questions
- Process customer returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Promote sales by offering product suggestions and providing information on current promotions
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of jewelry sales or technical sales is an advantage
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
