We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
- Provide product information and assist customers in finding the items they need
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and replenish merchandise as needed
- Assist with inventory management and perform regular stock checks
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, taxes, and change
- Experience with technology sales is advantageous
