Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a seasonal Cash Room Clerk to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Montana for our 2024 Summer Season! As a Cash Room Clerk, you'll be responsible for all counting, balancing, and reconciling of cash and credit card payments. Yellowstone General Stores are located throughout Yellowstone National Park including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. The locations offer the opportunity to explore more than 1000 miles of hiking trails, 40 waterfalls, and 10,000 hydro-thermal features like hot springs and geysers. We offer dorm-style employee housing or full-hookup RV sites. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities in Yellowstone National Park for our team members.

• Reconcile all cash drawers and safe counts
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures are being followed by all team members
• Properly handle team member cash outs on a shift basis and report any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring accurate accounting of all transactions, collections, and disbursements during shift
• Prepare change orders as necessary
• Work with management team on loss prevention strategy
• Identify gaps in proper cash handling procedures and report findings to leadership

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Processes an extremely high level of integrity.
• Prior experience handling large sums of money with extreme accuracy.
• Has a detective mentality when investigating cash discrepancies.
• Excellent accounting and general math skills.

• Consistently lifting, moving, and pushing 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
