Robert Half is currently working with a client looking to fill a Cash Application Specialist position. The Cash Application Specialist will be responsible for processing high volume transactions for the accounts receivable department. The Cash Application Specialist will ideally have experience working in a high-volume environment and previous accounts receivable experience. This could be the role for you if you are a Cash Application Specialist!
Your responsibilities in this role
- Attend to and reconcile accounts receivables and remittances
- Record payments including checks to customer accounts, wires and ACH credit transfers
- Handle all differences and discrepancies such as payment issues
- Kick off general ledger reports weekly
- Help with the management of customer database accounts- Knowledge of Cash Applications
- Detail-oriented and high attention to accuracy are a must
- Experience with high volume data entry
- Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
- 2+ years working in an accounts receivable department
