- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Partner with Area Product Owners and product team for ongoing refinement of product backlog and execution of the product roadmap
- Coordinates with scrum team and technical leads to prioritize scope, objectives and constraints for development sprints
- Act as voice of the customer and drive product vision – ensure business and user needs are articulated as clear as possible
- Works closely with PO/APO to understand project scope and priorities
- Manage existing product features and actively lead the research definition and development of new features to advance the product roadmap
- Supports creation of detailed user stories for the agile development lifecycle - Assists the team as needed to complete stories and with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutions
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, including use of Agile project management tools (i.e., Confluence, JIRA, Git, etc.)
- Solid understanding of both Scrum and Waterfall execution strategies
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrix, complex organization
- Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
- Sharp analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage continuously shifting business priorities
