Career Consulting Partners is partnered with a successful Injury law firm that has over 300 5-star reviews on Google, providing legal representation to clients across 40 + cities throughout California. We are in search of a personal injury Case Manager to work out of our Century City office.
As a Personal Injury Case Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients throughout the personal injury claims process. You will manage a caseload of clients and coordinate with attorneys, medical professionals, insurance companies, and other relevant parties to ensure the smooth and efficient progress of clients' cases.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing compassionate and empathetic support throughout their personal injury claims.
- Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring that all necessary documentation is gathered, deadlines are met, and clients are updated on the status of their cases.
- Maintain open and clear communication with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies to facilitate the resolution of cases.
- Prepare and organize case documents, medical records, and evidence for use in legal proceedings.
- Conduct initial case investigations, including gathering accident reports, witness statements, and photographs.
- Assist attorneys in negotiations with insurance companies to reach favorable settlements for clients.
- Coordinate with medical professionals to ensure clients receive necessary treatment and assessments.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to personal injury cases.
- Perform administrative tasks related to case management, including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years experience in personal injury law
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Compassion and empathy for clients during difficult times.
Additional Info:
- Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
