Case Manager Assistant
Full-time, on-site position- M-F 8 am- 4 pm (40 hrs/week) with flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
Rock Valley Community Programs, Inc. (RVCP) operates a residential re-entry program serving adult male and female offenders transitioning from prison back into the community, offenders who are serving Alternatives to Revocation (ATR), or other probation/parole violations. The program is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a 115-bed Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF).
JOB SUMMARY
The Case Manager Assistant (CMA) works directly with the Case Managers, Compliance Manager, and Office Manager. The primary emphasis is assisting the Case Managers in monitoring the computer lab and assisting with client groups. The CMA will also assist with the monitoring and projects assigned by the Office Manager in Case Manager support, GPS monitoring, and quality assurance. The Case Manager Assistant will aide in ensuring the requirements of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and the Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) licensing requirements are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Assist Case Manager/Office Manager with the programmatic and caseload duties.
· Monitor the Computer lab by helping clients with their computer needs.
· RVCP resident cell phone policy agreement and approved phone card.
· Assist the Office Manager with client-related duties such as scanning; UA/BA scheduling; 5% random; room searches; print client photos, TCU assessments; bus pass log; chore list; dosage hour tracking
· Assist the residential director with quality assurance information gathering and evaluation.
· Auditing Files: Conduct file audits monthly to ensure all proper forms are present and correctly filled out. Conduct a final file audit of all exiting residents to ensure all proper forms are present and correctly filed out. Also preparing files for intakes.
· Correspondence: Prepare and distribute resident paperwork as directed, including but not limited to: letters inviting agents to attend staffing, and proper distribution of progress reports, exit plans, incident reports and discharge letters.
· Social Passes: (If needed for Case Manager) Review all completed social passes to ensure call-in compliance.
· Ensure that residents are always accounted for, write incident reports, etc.
· Information Boards: Maintain accurate, up-to-date resident information board (located in PSS office), including printing client photos.
· Assist PSS desks as needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Degree in a human service-related field and/or one-year relative experience.
· Experience and proficiency in Internet Explorer, Windows, and Microsoft Office programs.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
· Be knowledgeable and in daily compliance with the Federal Statement of Work (SOW), Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) and the Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) licensing requirements.
· Be knowledgeable of and in compliance with all Residential Services Department Policies and Procedures.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to follow verbal and written directions and complete assignments accurately and within specified time frames.
· Ability to relate to people in an unprejudiced and understanding manner with concern for their circumstances and feelings.
· Ability to secure Federal and State clearance for work with residents and other required licensing standards.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
· Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, urine drug test, and TB test.
· Successfully complete required CBRF trainings.
