$82,500 to $137,500 annually, plus target commission of $65,000 annually

The Carrier Account Executive is responsible for selling telecommunications and network connectivity
services while creating and managing the relationships with strategic Enterprise business accounts. We
seek candidates who are proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The
Enterprise Account Executive must possess a strong knowledge of the telecommunications business and
be enthusiastically committed to growing client relationships. This role is perfect for someone with proven
track record of strategic, commercial, and technical selling, and who also wants to be a constantly
challenged in pursuit of growing in their craft. Excellent customer relationship skills are critical, as is the
ability to exercise good judgment, be self-motivated and work both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Handles new sales quotes that are not served through automation, including formulating contracts, quotations and pricing, product research, customer relations, follow-up, coordinating due dates, placing service orders, and managing and communicating test and turn up of circuits, etc.
Assists in identifying wholesale opportunities within company's current markets
Develops and maintains relationships with buyers within our Carrier customers including transport engineers, Access managers and other departments seeking wholesale services and their leadership
Designs and creates customer network configurations
Responsible for working with operations to ensure accurate order processing and service delivery
Handles a wide variety of customer support, including resolving billing issues, managing customer inquiries, customer turn-up, and general customer satisfaction and relations
Leads, identifies and manages internal communications needs, disseminates information regarding relevant activities and obtains appropriate corporate approvals
Works with sales management, product management, IT, regulatory, corporate marketing, and other inter-departmental stakeholders, by managing resources and timeframes required to complete and recommend customer solutions, requirements, pricing, and implementation
Ensures effective communications are maintained within areas of responsibility
Leads QBRs with assigned Carrier customers
Where appropriate, informs employees as to plans in progress
Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of Company
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years selling in telecom in the Wholesale channels
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or University or equivalent work experience
Working knowledge of Carrier Ethernet, optical waves, dark fiber, and broadband services
Must be able to demonstrate business to business telecom sales record at a high level of achievement
Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
Experience developing and maintaining business, sales, & account plans as well as negotiating & closing complex deals
Experience selling and managing accounts that have C-Level interaction where cultivating larger, strategic relationships key

Capacity to work on cross-functional projects and teams and leverage internal resources to problem-solve
Proficiency in Salesforce.com
Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel as needed.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
