Carpenter/Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter or lead carpenter to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing various carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion. This is a full-time position that often has overtime hours available.

Duties:
- Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to drywall, electrical work, blueprint reading, framing, tile installation, flooring, roofing and trim carpentry.
- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and construction workers on job sites.
- Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of various carpentry techniques and tools.
- Proficient in trades of masonry, electrical work, light plumbing, drywall, framing, tile installation, flooring, roofing and trim carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
