Carpenter/Laborer/ Lead Carpenter Position

Construction Laborers are responsible for supporting the construction of our company's developments. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment, capable of following direction and performing a number of different tasks. Hourly pay dependent on experience level.

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Salary: $20.00- $30.00 per hour based on experience level.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8 Hour's per day
• Day shift

Work Location: Multiple job sites in Eugene, OR and surronding areas

Duties:

- Lead a team of carpenters in performing carpentry tasks with the highest quality of craftsmanship within the allotted time frame.

- Hold themselves and all carpenters under their direction accountable for their work performance, actions, and appearance

- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete tasks in a timely manner

- Understand and stay informed of the entire project scope including revisions, change orders or changes to the scope of work and the schedule.

- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.

- Be able to problem solve without the direction of superiors.

- Assist with the setup, cleanup and security of construction sites Maintain safety of the construction site by keeping the work area clean and organized.

- Help with the installation of construction materials, such as scaffolding, concrete forms, and temporary structures. Includes the lifting of heavy materials, operating machinery, using hand tools, and power equipment.

- Perform basic carpentry tasks, such as measuring and cutting materials.

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Must have knowledgeable math skills.

- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.

- Must be able to work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.

- Must have physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time.

-Working in wet or cold conditions may be required. Must have appropriate outdoor work gear.
