STARLUX Airlines invites applications from qualified professionals for the Cargo Operation position, which will be based in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

Cargo Operations

1. Cargo Operation Related

• Receive training on Company Cargo Operations system, dangerous goods, and Company Cargo Operations procedures and policies and pass related assessments;
• Supervise partnering GHA: monitor work quality, ensure GHA follows Company SOPs and policies on Cargo Operation, coordinate and communicate with GHA and airport office on Cargo Operation related matters;
• Be responsible for export/import airline operation, and coordinate with relevant internal/external parties (e.g. Head office, Port Authorities, CAA, etc.);
• Manage ULD and accessories stock control;
• Handle cargo irregularities and deal with customer complaints;
• Be able to work rotating shifts including late nights, early mornings, holidays and weekends according to roster; and
• Have a reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license: is able to frequently commute between cargo warehouse, airport office, and ramp during shift.

2. Initial Setup

• Serve as a local liaison and work with Taiwan HQ’s cargo division to finalize GHA selection;
• Assist with the development of local Cargo Operations SOP and procedures.

3. Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate manager.

Qualifications

• Have excellent leadership, multitasking, communication, and coordination skills
• Be able to react quickly, solve problems and is a team player
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Bilingual is a plus

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and above or equivalent experience.

Pay: From $43,200.00 per year
