Caregiver/Personal Assistant

Let me start by explaining that I am the guardian for my disabled 44 year old brother. My brother receives financial support from the state for care givers and cooridnators. He currently has staff that care for him daily.

With that being said this position is a tad different. I am looking to hire someone to manage his life and affairs. Not directly work with him. This role would be to oversee his doctors appointments, transportation to and from those appointments, and esure that all his medications are ordered and available. This position will also require you to oversee and manage his current care taker staff. Sounds like a lot but its really far less complicated then it sounds. I do not have any time to manage his life. Im his guardian not his care taker. I an working on removing myself from the role of a care taker as much as possible. I only need to be consutled for major decisions in his life.

This is a great part time gig for anyone who is responsible and has a half as brain. You will be paid for 10 hours weekly however I would find it difficult to imagine this would require 10 hours of work every week. I need you to be more available for anything unexpected more than anything.

- Previous experience in a similar role, such as personal care aide, nursing assistant, or caregiver
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals who may have dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
