In the Caregiver role you are essential for helping the elderly live with dignity and respect, allowing them to age gracefully in their homes!
- Dementia Care
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) - personal cares, bathing/showering, dressing, grooming, etc.
- Light Housekeeping - sweeping, mopping, dusting, taking out trash, washing dishes, disinfect counters tops, kitchen and bathroom, change bed linens, laundry, etc.
- Be a Companion - play games, do puzzles, listen to music etc.
- Meal Preparation
- Provide Transportation if needed
- Various other duties as assigned
Caregiver Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 Year of experience working with the Elderly
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with auto insurance
- Pass a drug test and background check
- Willingness to travel no more than 20-30 miles to a clients home
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
