Caregiver (Weekday And Weekend Shifts)

Our work environment includes:

• Providing care to individuals in Group home setting

We provide 24 hours support and supervision for clients with developmental disabilities

Responsibilities:

• Become aware of and protect client rights.
• Provide treatment that promotes client dignity, independence, individuality, strengths, privacy and choice.
• Protect and maintain the confidentiality of client records and information.
• Recognize and respect cultural differences.
• Recognize, prevent, and respond to a situation in which a client may be a danger to self or a danger to others or may be experiencing a medical emergency.
• Prepare client daily progress notes.
• Read and implement a client’s behaviorial treatment plan.
• Check notice board daily for client appointments.
• Assist a client in accessing community services and resources.
• Record and document client information.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Assist clients in the self-administration of medications.
• Transport clients to and from appointments.
• Clean work area, kitchen and other surrounding areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• CPR/First Aid/Article 9 Certification or willing to obtain
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or willing to obtain
• Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
• Strong organizational skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable
• Willing to keep up with Continuing Education Courses provided by employer

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
