Amada Senior Care is looking to invest in our growing family! We have an immediate opening for a DEPENDABLE CAREGIVER who can help enrich the lives of seniors in the Lancaster, PA area. Experience is preferred but not required. We will train you! We are urgently hiring for this position and have IMMEDIATE HOURS AVAILABLE.

Caregiver Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age & have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a Background Check & DMV Check.
- Have current TB clearance or ability to pass a two-step TB Test.
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality about client services and personal information.
- Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds, bend, and squat as needed.
- Present a neat appearance and positive work attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely client notes, documenting interventions, client pain score, outcomes, and client/representative response per agency policy.
- Assist clients with Personal Care and hygiene, meal preparation, feeding assistance, bed mobility and positioning, range of motion exercises, toileting, continence care, dressing and undressing, medication reminder assistance, light housekeeping including dusting, vacuuming, linen changing and laundry, social and emotional support.
- Maintains confidentiality of client, personnel, and agency operations.
- Practices safety and universal precautions, infection control, and use appropriate protective equipment to protect client and self.
- Other duties as assigned.
Our caregivers think of senior care as their calling, not as a job. Amada caregivers provide non-medical in-home care to clients in the Central Pennsylvania area. The ideal candidate has in-home caregiving experience and the ability to work with a diverse population, with a variety of needs.
