Your Typical Daily Responsibilities
- Provide personal assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community
- Encourage socialization and inspire participation in community activities while ensuring resident safety and well-being
- Provide hands-on support and assistance with mobility and incontinence care as needed
- Contribute to developing service plans and document care and services as provided daily
- Ensure care, safety and cleanliness standards are met according to regulatory compliance
Skills Required for Success
- Being flexible and adaptable to different schedules, tasks and changing resident care needs
- Proficient in verbal and written English with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to observe, identify and promptly report changes in condition to the appropriate personnel
- Ability to follow detailed instruction while working as part of a team to achieve a collective goal
Our Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Interest in working with an aging population requiring physical assistance
- Experience as a primary Caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
- Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends and holidays
