- $16.00 - $18.50/hour, based on professional experience
- Full Time Day Shift: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Every other weekend rotation

- Assists residents in their activities of daily living tasks as needed and directed. This could include bathing, grooming, personal and dental hygiene, transportation to meals and activities, bowel and bladder functions (e.g., take to bathroom, portable commode, change incontinency products, etc.), shaving dressing, hair care, and laundry talks. All tasks and duties as described or documented in the resident’s service plan.
- Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; Transporting residents; answering residents call lights in a timely manner; reporting observations of the resident to the nursing supervisor when appropriate.
- Responds to resident’s needs promptly while maintaining each resident’s self-respect, personal dignity, personal safety and confidentiality.
- Assists resident in and out of bed and wheelchair as needed, following safe lifting/transferring techniques.
- Assists Engagement staff in carrying out planned activities.
- Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records electronically.
- Uses universal precautions and follows established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
- Serves and protects the community by adhering to professional standards, community policies and procedures, state and local requirements.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations and maintaining certification/licensure.
- Maintains a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents and guests, following established safety standards.
- Adheres to all mandated reporting requirements and communicates concerns to person in charge.
Qualifications:
Education: High School or GED
Licenses or other required certifications: CPR certification a plus
Experience:
Specialized knowledge, skills, or abilities:
- Ability to work under pressure and relate well with the residents.
- Excellent bedside manner
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with an electronic health record system.
