We immediately seek dedicated Caregivers to make a difference by providing assistance to our older adult residents. Laurel Parc at Bethany Village, near the Beaverton-Hillsboro area, goes to extraordinary lengths to create a place where seniors enjoy life to the fullest. Our care teams help residents with light housekeeping, making beds, assisting with personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing, oral & hair care, transferring and other needs based on individual service plans. Schedules: Day Shift (6:30am-2:30pm), Swing Shift (2:30pm-10:30pm) or NOC (10:30 - 6:30)
Also- Full Time or Part Time Floaters to work mainly hours of 6:30am-10:30pm to float between Assisted Living and Memory care to cover call-offs and employes on leaves.
Must be able to work weekends on rotation.
Pay: $21.00 - $21.50 (Med Tech $22.50-$23.00)
Main Responsibilities:
- Provides general attention to residents needs.
- Documents all Activities of Daily Living for each resident.
- Provides companionship and observes to ensure safety and to report condition changes.
- Completes light housekeeping tasks.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding residents and the care.
- Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
- Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure.
Qualifications
- A passion for working with seniors + 6 months experience!
- Completion of paid pre-employment trainings- provided during onboarding.
- Must obtain current CPR/1st Aid training (employer provided) & Oregon Food Handlers Permit
- Must be able to work weekends and have some schedule flexibility
- Caregiver experience preferred, but not required.
