Caregiver-Hospice

We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Hospice Caregivers to join our team. As a Hospice Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing support and care to terminally ill patients and their families in their homes or healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate should be patient, kind, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and emotional support.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' health status to the hospice team.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide comfort care and pain management to patients.
• Provide support and education to family members on caring for their loved ones.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in hospice care or related field.
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or related training program preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
