As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other care needs. Your role will involve helping clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), behavior management, and ensuring their overall well-being. Duties: - Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia - Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors - Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medication management - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities - Monitor client's health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients Skills: - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Proficient in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) - Familiarity with home care systems and procedures - Ability to lift and transfer clients safely - First aid certification is preferred but not required - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals - Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature If you are looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference in the lives of others, apply now!```
