Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care. Our Caregivers handle all aspects of daily life for our residents, including dispensing medication and incontinence care. You must be comfortable caring for people with different abilities.
You must also be dependable, as we are a smaller facility and require our caregivers to work all their scheduled shifts. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to a work schedule.
Precondition of all employment: Must pass State and Federal background check per state law prior to hire; must be CPR certified now or within 14 days of hire, but online certification is OK. Full training provided.

Must be:
At least 18 years old (21 for NOC shift)

Job Type: Full-time-Part Time-On Call-All shifts needed now and support to elderly individuals in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private residences.
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and manage behaviors associated with dementia or memory loss.
- Administer medications and assist with medical appointments as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents or clients at all times.
- Promote resident rights and maintain confidentiality of personal information.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with residents.
Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care or a related field is preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of dementia care and behavior management techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with assisted living regulations and resident rights is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
