Caregiver / Cna With Multiple Sclerosis Experience Needed

Here are the details for this opportunity:

• Provide ADL care to a male client with Multiple Sclerosis on the Southeast Side of Chicago. For this client, you would provide 1 on 1 support, in the home of the client, that would include the following:
  • Basic household duties (laundry, light housekeeping)
  • meal preparation/cooking
  • medication reminders
  • balance assistance
  • support with grooming
  • dressing
  • personal care (bathing, toileting, as well as incontinent care (as needed))
  • companionship
  • activities within the client's capabilities
  • run personal errands. 
  • The use of a Gait Belt and/or a Hoyer Lift will be used for all transfer.

Job Type - Part Time

Compensation and Benefits

• 24/7 On Call Support with a live person to talk to when you call

• Base hourly wage for this job opportunity is $19.00/hr

• Paid Time Off Accumulated

• Time and a half pay on special Holidays worked

• Other job opportunities can be available - Build to a full time schedule with Multiple clients

Job Requirements:

• Must have Multiple Sclerosis related experience

• Must have experience with Gait Belts

• Must have experience using Hoyer Lifts

• Must have a car and willing to run close personal errands (etc. dry cleaners/Walgreens)

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED

• Must be Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds minimum

• Must submit to criminal background check and IDPH fingerprint check

• Must have Reliable transportation - Public Or Vehicle *Company does not provide transportation

• Must be able to provide unexpired documents for Background check, Federal I9, E-verify, and Payroll purposes.

• Must be able to use technology such as access to a company mobile app and mobile website while on shift.

You will not work with ARIS at home as a certified nursing assistant (CNA, C.N.A.), but as one of the following: caregiver, companion, personal care attendant, HHA, CHHA, H.H.A., home health aide, home health worker, home care caregiver
