Construction with emphasis in Green Technology-Energy
• Must have, or be eligible for, ROP teaching credential and valid California teaching credential in designated subject area(s).
• Minimum of 5 years experience directly related to designated subject area.
• Successful teaching experience in designated area(s) at the high school level.
• Knowledge of the State Curriculum Standards and State Frameworks in designated area(s).
• Practice a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students.
• Ability and willingness to teach all courses within the designated credential area(s).
• Willingness to work with colleagues for the improvement of instruction and articulation of program.
• Positive attitude and receptivity to change.
• Interest and experience in working with students in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
• Manage classroom with multiple levels of instruction.
• Build and sustain ROP enrollment and viability of program.
Requirements / Qualifications
Current Resume, Letter of Introduction, Copy of Credential, English Learner Certificate, NCLB Compliance and three letters of recommendation, California Single Subject Industrial and Technology Education Credential or Career Technical Education Credential in Building and Construction Trades.
Official transcripts required if hired.

This is a grant funded position. There is potential for an increase in FTE in future years with additional CTE credential.
