Career Services Coordinator

Full-Time: Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:00PM, with exception of one late day per week 10AM-7PM to be discussed)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides one-on-one employment assistance to students and graduates.
• Generate employer database through cold calling, mailing, and site visits.
• Meet weekly placements goals and 90-day employment verification.
• Identify and develop viable extern site opportunities for students.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with extern sites to encourage maximum potential for students to be offered employment upon completion of externship.
• Track weekly extern attendance (time cards)
• Assist students and graduates with resume writing, interview techniques, phone skills, networking, and other job search processes.
• Maintain accurate student, graduate and employment records and phone logs
• Participate in all program advising committee meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Ability to gather data, analyze results, and present findings.
• Possess the ability to generate leads and meet placement goals.
• Professional presentation skills and a strong command of the English language.
• Demonstrated Computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in Career Services experience preferred, or job development, staffing and recruitment, medical sales or a closely related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
