We are currently seeking a Career Mobile Equipment Operator for our Livingston, AL plant on a rotating shift.

What You Will Do:
• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Safely operate heavy equipment to transport raw materials or finished product throughout the facility
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
• Operate at least 2 pieces of Mobile Equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
• Operate equipment in quarry or production
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• A minimum of 1 year of experience
• Ability to operate at least 2 pieces of Mobile Equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
Working Conditions and physical environment:
• While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
