University Career Services at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a part-time Career Counseling (Temp).

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Career Development, the Career Counseling (Temp) provides Career Counseling and programming to Georgia State University students. This 18-20 hour per week position. This position requires excellent interpersonal, communication, critical thinking skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to change.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide individual and group Career Counseling.
- Conduct personality and career assessments.
- Conduct programs/workshops as assigned by the Associate Director. In addition, the intern will conduct personality and career assessments with students as requested.
- Attend/participate in a weekly departmental staff meeting and provide reporting as requested.
- Maintain student records.
- Complete/submit evaluation forms as assigned:
- Training: Attend conferences/workshops outside of the center and GSU
- Research: Read/research the center’s resources and materials; recommend new programming
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED Required.
College/Business Unit
