Career Coach - Remote

Thank you for your interest in the Career Coach position for QA Program @ TripleTen! We help people with versatile backgrounds learn a new profession online and build a sustainable career in IT. Our bootcamp graduates have landed dream jobs at places like Tesla, Accenture, Nielsen, and Microsoft. More than 5,000 students have already chosen TripleTen and we need your unique expertise to keep our company both competitive and innovative.

Our team is currently looking for a Career Coach with expertise in QA professions and the US job market. The main goal of a Career Coach is to help our graduates land a job. You will provide individualized Career Coaching and guidance to help students and graduates smoothly transition from our QA program to employment. Also, you will ensure all job seekers feel fully supported throughout their career journey.

What you will do::

• Coaching sessions - organize biweekly one-on-one and group meetings with students to assist with their job search. Here are some of the topics covered during coaching sessions:
• Helping students create an effective job search strategy
• Reviewing their application funnels and sharing insights on how to make the application process more effective
• Working with feelings of imposter syndrome, fear of rejection, and motivation loss
• Giving any other required career advice
• Career artifacts review - review student resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and cover letters
• Interview prep - conduct HR/cultural fit interviews and assess student performance according to our guidelines
• Tracking - update our internal system for student progress and alert teammates when a student isn’t doing well or falling out of communication
• Community engagement - facilitate our Discord student channels, find and share content about the job market, and provide useful tips
• Online events - host and facilitate career webinars once a month
• Collaboration - collaborate with the TripleTen team to enhance our career products and improve user experience

What we can offer you::

• $35 - $40 per hour;
• 15-25 hours per week; Part-time remote collaboration;
• A comfortable digital office. We use modern digital tools— Miro, Notion, Google Meet, etc.— to make the process of working together seamless.

Requirements:

• You have 2-5 years of experience in a similar role (Career Coach, counselor, educator, technical recruiter, or hiring manager);
• You are a people person: someone who can listen and provide constructive feedback;
• You are an inspiring leader who will be able to motivate a group of job seekers;
• You are extremely well organized, detail oriented, and have impeccable follow-through skills;
• You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Extra credit if you have previously worked in tech industry.
