Job Summary:
We are searching for a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner - CNA to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct care and assistance to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The Care Partner - CNA will work closely with healthcare professionals to support the physical and emotional needs of our residents.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Empathy and compassion for elderly and disabled individuals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Must be available to work the specified shift: Days, 6a-2pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Follow care plans and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Escort residents to appointments or recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
- Document and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of resident care.
- Attend training and educational sessions as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, stoop, and kneel as required to assist residents.
- Ability to push residents in wheelchairs or provide assistance with mobility.
