The Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic/Fluoro Technologist is a Part Time, Regular positionat the Holy Family Outpatient Based Imaging Center. Three 10 hour weekday shifts. WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

Summary: Provides patient care services by using imaging modalities at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The person in this role is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Interventional Radiology exams, including scrub duties, sterile technique, and applicable hemodynamics. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating duties with Radiologic Technologists and sedation nurses. Must be flexible and willing to rotate duties and responsibilities within the scope of practice for a CVT.

- Position and prepare patients for Interventional procedures and treatments.
- Set up sterile trays for special procedures and fluoroscopic guided procedures
- Assist radiologist/midlevel personnel with special procedures including arterial and venous angiograms, infusion implanted devices, oncology treatments, and other.
- Assist physician with intravascular ultrasound and arterial pressure monitoring
- Assist with radioactive materials
- Assist patients as needed to obtain quality exam
- Be proficient in medical terminology and anatomy/physiology
- Prepare exam rooms
- Utilize strict sterile technique to set up procedure tables
- Perform patient preparation, positioning and site prep for various procedures.
- Maintains clean and stocked exam rooms
- Assist in ordering supplies and inventory control as directed by supervisor
- Assists in the appropriate transportation of patients as needed
- Rotates to other shifts and locations as needed
- Assist other staff in preparing room for procedure involving use of radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
- Maintains clean environment and workspace
- Assists in the appropriate transportation of patients as needed
- Adhere to all DOH, TJC, Inland Imaging and partnering facilities policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Education: AA Degree is required. Accredited Invasive Cardiovascular or Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent.
- Experience: One year of Interventional Radiology experience is preferred
- Anatomy and medical terminology is required
- Hospital experience is preferred
- Licensure: Must maintain current Washington State Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Radiologic Technologist licensure
- Certifications: Maintain current RCIS or ARRT for Radiologic Technologist
- Computer Skills: Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Outlook, Workday, I-Site; Intranet, II WEB, Qgenda
- Background Check:
- Must be able to pass a background check required by RCW 43.43.830-840 to work with children under the age of 16, developmentally disabled persons or vulnerable adults
