Role Description:
A Cardiovascular Technician or Technologist assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular conditions. They perform various procedures and tests related to the heart and blood vessels to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Procedures
- Electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG)
- Stress Tests
- Echocardiograms
- Holter Monitor Placement/Removal
- Event Monitor Assistance
- Cardiac Catheterization Lab Assistance
- Angioplasty and Stent Procedures
- Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator (ICD) Assistance
- Vascular Studies
- Patient Education
Certifications
Some states require licensure or certification for Cardiovascular Technologists (Certified Cardiographic Technician - CCT
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS
- DL and SS Card required for submission
- Covid Vaccination (Exemptions allowed)
- Flu Vaccination
- Updated resume
- 3 references Names and Places worked. (Nurse Manager, Supervisors)"
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
