Responsibilities
The Center for Cardiovascular Health (CCH) at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH), in Seattle, is seeking a talented .8 - 1.0 FTE board-certified Cardiologist to join our cardiovascular service line comprising over 190 providers. The job will be based at Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC).
This position will be located at our Bainbridge Island location four days per week, as well as our downtown Seattle location one day per week.
Our heart specialists are recognized nationally in the treatment for heart failure and heart attacks. We have cardiac surgery outcomes that are in the top 10 percent in the nation. We are national leaders in providing appropriate care - which means patients only receive the tests and treatments they need for quality care.
The multidisciplinary team of Cardiovascular Specialists at the CCH is fully committed to our patients. We have the strength of more than 50 subspecialties and the latest state-of-the-art technology. Our goal is to maximize our patients' quality of life while treating diseases and disorders of the heart and vascular system.
As a member of the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's CCH, the Cardiologist will be working collaboratively with all cardiology specialties in an atmosphere of "Team Medicine" at Virginia Mason Medical Center. There will be opportunities to participate in research and clinical trials through support from The Benaroya Research Institute.

Qualifications
- BE/BC by American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the state of WA
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
