Job Description
The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of non-invasive ultrasound examinations for use in diagnosis of cardiac, vascular, and abdominal disorders. Performs all duties in a manner in which promotes teamwork and close collaboration with the providers and clinic staff and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.

Required qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree Or Bachelor's Degree in Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Technology -or- equivalent combination of education, formal training and work experience
  • National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire -or-
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 2 years of experience in a pediatric echo lab. This experience must be with patients with complex congenital heart disease in a variety of settings including NICU/PICU.

Preferred qualification:
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in cardiology

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

About the Team
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
