Job Summary: Performs a variety of duties in preparing patients for cardiac sonography to include 2-D echocardiograms, color and Doppler imaging, transesophageal echocardiography. Must be prepared to maintain HLD on TEE probes and meet regulatory and safety measures. Must be able to provide direct patient care for adolescent to geriatric patient populations. Maintains good working relationships with co-workers and Doctors.
Qualifications:
- Registered Cardiac Medical Sonographer, or must be registry eligible and must successfully complete registry examination within one year of date of hire.
- Current BLS from the AHA or ARC
