Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

With 320 beds and a team of more than 500 physicians representing over 35 specialties, we offer a range of inpatient and outpatient services.
What you will do in this role:
- Provide technical assistance for all diagnostic and interventional invasive cardiology procedures, which include supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging, use of medical devices
- Use hemodynamic and EDG monitoring, including interpretation of data
- Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional CV procedures, which includes preparation of supplies and instruments, preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, preparation and manipulation of Cardiac Catheters, guide-wires and devices
- Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy
- Injection of contrast median and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician
- Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned
- Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor/manager
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health (MRT)
ARRT by the Texas Department of Health
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BLCLS) and Certification
One year Cath Lab experience
