Car Wash Part Time Assistant Manager (Every Other Weekend)

Bubbles Foam Farm, The Premier Family Friendly Car Wash in Oconomowoc Wisconsin is looking for a high energetic person to join the family! We are currently hiring a Part Time Assistant Manager. The amount of hours will be between 20-30 hours every two weeks. Great for a current college student who has some flexibility on the weekends, for someone who just graduated, great as a 2nd job, or for someone who is looking for a new start with the ability to grow. Base hours for this position are weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday 8:30am-5:30pm) Every Other Weekend. We are able to extend this into some weekday night shifts from 4pm-8pm. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a small staff of employees.
• Delegate and assign daily tasks to a team of employees.
• Ensure all daily sales and operations run smoothly.
• To open and close Car Wash as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Directing cars through the wash while ensuring the safety of all cars, customers, and fellow employees.
• Assures effective and efficient flow of Car Wash.
• Greet customers with a smile and ask how they can help.
• Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services to them; take and process wash payments and help with Promo Codes when needed.
• Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area.
• Aid customers in any area concerning the Car Wash process.
• Carry out every day, preventative maintenance of equipment used in washing to keep them in proper working order.
• Perform daily duties including but not limited to cleaning of facilities, washing of towels, and ensuring everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized.
• Apply water hoses, nozzles, brushes, soap buckets, broom, hand tools, pressure washer, and grease gun.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to in carrying out given tasks daily.
• Ensure vacuums are unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung.
• With a sense of urgency, ensure the right thing is done at the right time with customers, home office, and fellow teammates.

Qualifications:

• Previous work as supervisor preferred.
• Ability to lead, problem solve, and delegate daily tasks.
• Availability to open and close Car Wash.
• A drive to succeed, self-motivated.
• Ability to work efficiently and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to interact with customers, other teammates and supervisors in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
• Strong ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Ability to lift items of moderate weight and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work swiftly to deliver washed vehicles to customers in a timely manner.
• Ability to interact ethically with fellow employees, customers and supervisors.
• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills
• A simple knowledge of cars and their parts, tools and other equipment
