As a Capital Markets Business Analyst in Home Lending Loan Sales, you will leverage your data analysis and process improvement skills to ensure the quality of our loan portfolio. You will lead initiatives to streamline our processes, using your ability to identify trends, project outcomes, and develop automation solutions. Your strong communication skills will be crucial in explaining complex data to all team levels. Your contributions will enhance our operational workflows and create a more efficient work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop automation solutions for internal operational workflows and build tools which will optimize and reduce manual processes
- Develop data visualizations for complex data sets
- Execute operational tasks to support portfolio and agency loan sales
- Engage stakeholders, develop requirements, and leverage Citizen Developer tools to implement solutions from end-to-end
- Create reporting, interpret results and convey in a concise, straight-forward manner
- Lead projects while ensuring timely completion and articulating any issues/risks to management
- Ensure the integrity of data through automated extraction, translation, processing, analysis, and reporting
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Expert level PowerPoint and Excel
- Advanced knowledge of Alteryx, UiPath, or Tableau
- Bachelor’s Degree, majored in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Business Administration, or Computer Science
- Strong Operational Workflow Knowledge. Ability to lead an initiative, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Escalating any issues to management, providing clear details, solution, or improvement.
- Independent, logical problem solver with ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and project outcomes.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities with accuracy, attention to detail and limited supervision with very short turnaround times. Demonstrates ability to react quickly and decisively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and work collaboratively with diverse/cross-functional teams. Develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to create presentations for all levels of management and effectively report with an executive presence. Experience creating complex reporting with compelling key messages.
- Ability to work with audit, compliance, and regulatory constituencies to manage work in accordance with established procedures. Demonstrates accountability for work processes and the associated risks and controls. Demonstrates ability to raise issues to relevant stakeholders or management with respect to the control environment.
