This role is within the Corporate Finance team, reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, Head of Capital Markets.
The Corporate Finance Analyst is a critical role in supporting short-term and long-range planning, forecasting, capital structure and capital allocation activities.
The role includes supporting capital structure analysis, capital allocation, short and long range FCF and liquidity planning, share count modeling, interest expense forecasting, balance sheet analysis, and various corporate finance activities. The candidate will closely partner with Treasury, FP&A, Accounting, Tax and various business units.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the short term and long range Free Cash Flow and liquidity forecasting model.
- Develop understanding of the balance sheet as it relates to working capital and operating cash flow. Maintain and enhance the working capital model, partnering with accounting, FP&A, and business units.
- Support share buyback strategic planning and execution, and maintain the short-term and long-range employee share dilution and share buyback forecasting model.
- Support various capital structure projects, including debt sizing and issuance, covenant compliance, and acquisition financing, and other initiatives.
- Support the quarterly and monthly close and forecasting process, working closely with accounting in reconciling month-end close numbers with forecast, and continuously refining forecast variables.
- Support presentation materials (e.g. Ops reviews, Finance Leadership & Board materials, Rating Agency meetings) as well as contribute to other adhoc Corporate Finance and Treasury projects.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 2-4+ years related experience in Finance or Accounting
- 2+ years in investment banking / strategic consulting preferred
- Comfortable with financial modeling, intermediate accounting concepts, GAAP vs Non-GAAP accounting, corporate finance theory and valuation methodologies
- Statistical analysis, data manipulation, and strong Excel skills
- Have an inherent interest in Finance and great business acumen
- A great communicator with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally
- Strong attention to detail
