The Capital Markets Associate will play a key role in Divvy's Capital Markets strategy, helping to establish and maintain access to a diverse set of capital channels. You will report directly to the VP of Capital Markets.
We have a documented equal pay policy, and do not negotiate on offers. To maintain fairness and keep starting total comp the same for anyone who comes into that position, individual pay is determined by role, level and work location only. At the offer stage, we give candidates 3 different offers to choose from depending on how they want to favor cash vs equity. The US based salary range for this position is $103,928 to $133,150 + equity + benefits. Please note: We have two different compensation tiers depending on your location. The range displayed reflects the Tier 2 minimum and Tier 1 maximum new hire salary across all US locations. Your Recruiter will discuss the relevant compensation range during your initial screen.
Responsibilities:- You will be responsible for the team's execution of all Capital Markets activities, including, but not limited to, capital raising (warehouse, structured finance (ABS), and forward flow), managing transaction timelines and deal teams, and investor requests/dialogue
- Help drive the integration of new capital providers into the Divvy platform, coordinating across all functional groups.
- Manage weekly drawdowns on debt facilities; partner with the Operations team to quality control all necessary documents, and act as the point person for our lenders on all matters related to facility operations
- Manage daily cash flows related to home acquisitions, home sales, and rent payments
- Maintain a thorough record of debt facility transactions and coordinate with respective teams to ensure data accuracy
- Identify risks in existing processes and opportunities to streamline or automate processes to help our business scale
- Conduct analytics around company financial performance and help on ad hoc projects as requested
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
* 2-3 years of Investment Banking, Capital Markets, etc
* 2-3 years trading or structuring role - experience in an operating role at a fintech platform is strongly preferred - Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to take an ambiguous problem, parse it apart, and put together a thoughtful recommendation.
- A hustle mentality, and willingness to dig deep into problems to solve them.
- Ability to develop and iterate operational processes.
- Ability to communicate complex problems, processes or data to peers as well as senior leaders.
- Experience with Excel, SQL, or python is a plus!
