For many women and young people, the challenges are even more daunting. Working with TechnoServe staff, people around the world are lifting themselves out of poverty. The results are amazing...when incomes increase and living conditions for families get better, they are able to access health care and education previously out of reach. Communities and even whole countries are better off.

It is essential that people from vulnerable communities influence solutions and benefit from this transition. With 50 years of experience and boots on the ground, TechnoServe is in a unique position to deliver human-centered regenerative business solutions to our partners, from smallholder farmers to global businesses, to make this vision a reality. In 2022 TechnoServe launched a regenerative business strategy to scale our delivery of regenerative impact in the communities where we work. The Regenerative Capacity Building Intern will support the Regenerative Business Practice to document lessons learned one year since that launch, and to identify and develop priority knowledge products that will build the capacity of TechnoServe teams and partners as they work to facilitate the transition to prosperous, regenerative economic models.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities:

• Desk Review: Review, compile, and document key regenerative learnings from TechnoServe projects and studies and Departments
• Planning: Collaborate with the Regenerative Business Practice to identify priority knowledge products to build staff capacity in those learnings, and develop a work plan to engage relevant internal stakeholders and draft said products
• Development: Together with appropriate TechnoServe project and technical teams, develop knowledge products (may include, but are not limited to: Technical Toolkits, Capacity Statements, Knowledge Papers)
• Rollout: Design and draft a rollout campaign to build the capacity of TechnoServe teams in the new learning products and implementation tools, as relevant

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidate in a relevant Master's program or candidate with a recently awarded relevant post-graduate degree
• Experience with relevant regenerative topics, including but not limited to: blue economy, women's economic empowerment, just regenerative transition, regenerative agriculture, circular business models, inclusive business plans, Greenhouse Gas protocol and measurement tools
• Experience working in multicultural environments with a broad range of stakeholders
• Experience in compiling and writing comprehensive reports with both primary and secondary data, including reviewing and revising output collaboratively with project stakeholders
• Development of didactic materials for technical teams (e.g. manuals, toolkits, templates)
• Development of learning products for external audiences (e.g. op-eds, blogs)
