Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams and large initiatives through strategy creation, ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative features, products, and platforms
  • Foster the culture of customer obsession, product ownership, and innovation
  • Manage long-term roadmaps and drive long-term scalability balancing with day-to-day improvements across multiple product areas
  • Establish data-backed shared vision across the organization by building consensus on priorities
  • Integrate business goals, user research, and market trends into product strategy and requirements to deliver best-in-class user experience
  • Define and analyze metrics and KPIs to qualify success and inform business decisions
  • Manages a specific good or service available externally on the market that can be sold stand-alone, and that directly generates revenue
  • Full product lifecycle management, including: strategy, design, development, management and end of life of new, existing or acquisition products
  • Leverage market insights to understand market/customer needs to identify new opportunities or make adjustments to current product offerings
  • Delivering product performance against expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs
  • Accountable to and/or own the P&L
  • Partner with internal or external stakeholders (key customers, product partnerships, etc.) to define and drive future product direction
  • Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisor
  • Impact of work is most often at the local level

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Consumer Experience/Support
  • 5+ years of experience within Financial Industry, Fintech and Payments
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Experience product managing customer experience channels
  • Strategic & tactical experience designing, building, and delivering digital first service experience
  • Working knowledge of various consumer support platforms, CRM, Knowledge, Chat etc.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within health care or pharmacy industry in addition to Financial Industry, Fintech, eCommerce or Payments
  • Background in chatbots or AI/ML
  • Proven ability to develop product and go to market strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to leadership teams
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
