Cannabis Packaging Tech

• Shifts: Sunday - Wednesday 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. or Wednesday - Saturday 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Maintains proper organization of the Packaging and Distribution rooms.

· Ensures the organization and cleanliness of the Packaging department related rooms. Ensure organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area.

· Performs regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors, table, floors etc.).

· Contributes to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Processing department areas.

· Contributes and shows support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.

· Follows through with cleaning and organizing SOPs after use of equipment or supplies

· Checks final packaging to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant.

· Follows company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role.

· Follows all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.

· Reports any improper action of compliance regulations.

· Follows instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.

· Reports data input as instructed for METRC plant tags.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check

· Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.

· Must perform under high pressure situations.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations

· Self-Motivated

· Ability to multitask

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to stay focused

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude

· Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

· The ability to respond quickly to sounds

· The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces

· The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations

· The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day

· The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time

· The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions

· The ability to work in low light situations

· Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity

Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
