Fulfillment Coordinator

Full-time – Exempt $55k to $58k (DOE)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Fulfillment Coordinator oversees the day-to-day order fulfillment process, including input, administration, shipping, and transport of cannabis, and is responsible for compliant physical and virtual inventory practices with products in transit, both in Dutchie and Metrc. They must adhere to the regulations concerning the medical and adult use of cannabis put forth by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission. In addition, the Fulfillment Coordinator will coordinate and schedule efficient and accurate deliveries of products while balancing the needs of retail and wholesale customers and must work closely with wholesale, processing, retail, inventory, and logistic teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare, oversee, and control product movements in compliance with state law.

Assign, train, and monitor workloads on the distribution team.

Develop and maintain an effective organization.

Establish standards for fulfillment and transport processes in line with CCC regulations.

Measure and report on work function standards weekly.

Ensure compliance with CCC regulations for all inventory and logistics activities.

Work with the wholesale, dispatch, retail, and processing teams to ensure orders are communicated and packaged accurately.

Evaluate new SKUs, ensuring items are virtually logged correctly in Metrc/Dutchie.

Report to upper management on stock levels, transport, inventory issues, etc.,

Prepare various inventory reports.

Ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of the production, staging, and fulfillment areas.

Work with dispatch to ensure orders are correct for final packaging and delivery.

Update Dutchie to mirror stock levels from Metrc

Schedule and confirm all deliveries.

Upload van data for all deliveries.

  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced cannabis environment.

Proficient with state-required Metrc seed-to-sale inventory tracking and monitoring systems.

  • Proficient computer skills include Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, MRP systems, METRC, and Dutchie POS.
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees one-on-one and in a group setting.

Strong attention to detail and experience working in a highly regulated industry.

Must have extensive math and analytical skills for inventory, data analysis, projections, measurements, and calculations.

Excellent time-management skills and ability to effectively plan and prioritize

Skill in managing physical resources (budgeting, inventories, equipment, materials).

  • Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Ability to pass all required background checks to work with cannabis

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Extended time standing, walking, stooping, bending over, reaching, and crouching

Moderate to loud exposure to the noise level.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet.
