Cannabis Extract Formulator

Overview:

Lighthouse Industries is a manufacturer of cannabis products, including extracts, vapes, and blunts. Our goal is simple: Make delicious cannabis products that delight consumers. We are looking for someone to take on a full time Formulation role.

Job Overview:
As the Formulator, you will be responsible for developing and formulating our extracts, ensuring that the terpene blend, flavor, and effects are all wonderful. You will learn our supply chain, all the flavors in our terpene library, and you will be responsible for designing and executing terpene blends for our smokeable products. This is a very important role!

Responsibilities:
- Understand our cannabis terpene library, know how to pair flavors

- Blend vapes at desired ratios (IE, 4% Blue Dream and 3% Girl Scout Cookies)

- Develop new flavors that include botanical terpenes

- Taste test all blends, ensure the flavors align and there are no "off" notes

- Manage testing of blends with testing agencies

Job Requirements:
- You need to have a passion for weed. You need to consume it, understand it, and think about it's flavors.

- Experience in a production environment, know how to write and follow explicit directions

- Be on your A game all the time. You will be working with smart, hardworking people who are the best in the industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
