Job description

We're seeking dynamic and enthusiastic instructors to join the Campus Recreation team! Preferably available on weekday mornings and evenings.

We're hiring for various classes, including, but not limited to:

  • Barre
  • Zumba
  • Pilates
  • Karate
  • Kickboxing
  • Surge
  • Bootcamp
  • Weightlifting
  • Olympic Weightlifting
  • Strength & Conditioning
  • HIIT

Please specify the class(es) you are certified in or passionate about teaching in your resume!

 

ACA Variable on campus position (4 hours or less per week)


  • Design and deliver dynamic classes to consistently engage members and achieve results each week.
  • Adhere to the guidelines and values detailed in the employee handbook.
  • Ensure timely arrival, at least 10-15 minutes before each class, to facilitate setup and address member queries.
  • Mandatory participation in continuing education modules and staff meetings.

  • Hold a recognized certification or commit to obtaining one within 3 months of hire.
  • Obtain or possess a current CPR certification (assistance provided if needed).
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for Group Fitness.
  • Successfully pass an audition before employment.
  • Display a friendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanor.
  • Maintain clear communication and punctuality.

$12.00 per hour

This position requires moderate physical effort.  Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds, walking and standing.  Employees must adhere to safety precautions and may be required to use protective equipment.
