DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Prepare breakfast and lunch according to the SFSP menu.

1. Supervise assigned kitchen staff

1. Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen area and proper food storage.

1. Responsible for keeping records required by SFSP

1. Keeps inventory of supplies.

1. Requests and purchases needed food & supplies.

1. Report any medical problems to Camp Nurse.

1. Report any incidents to Manager of Community Services.

1. Be aware of any plan for campers food restrictions.(as made aware by Camp Nurse)

1. Any other duties as assigned by Manager of Community Services.

Each employee has the responsibility to:
•Be familiar with all policies of Arc GLOW
•Be sensitive to any situation that could lead him/herself or others to engage in actions that would violate said policies.
•Report any violations or suspected violations of Arc GLOW policies promptly.
•Attend all required compliance training.
Failure to comply with these policies or to report information regarding suspectedimproper conduct will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, as appropriate
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENT:
Knowledge of meal planning and preparation for large number of people. Must also have a valid NYS Driver's License.
Experience with meal planning and preparation for large number of people.
Experience with children with or without developmental disabilities is preferred.
Working conditions: Camp environment, partially indoors/outdoors. Kitchen setting.
