Summer Camp Head Cook

Private Day Camp in Wantagh, NY seeking a Head Cook.

Camp season runs from June 27, 2024 to August 22, 2024. Camp is closed for the holiday on Thursday & Friday, July 4th & 5th. Hours are 7:00AM to 2:00PM, Monday to Friday. Experience cooking for a large crowd.

Job responsibilities include: preparing hot and cold lunch for approximately 650 campers and staff. Ordering food, cleaning and sanitizing dishes, managing inventory lists, organizing and restocking all kitchen storage areas, maintaining a clean and sterile environment. Assisted by three additional staff members.

Pay: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour
