This position is for our Overnight Camp Program and requires the ability to be on-site 24 hrs/day while camp is in session. Room and Board are provided. Schedules are built for 1-session commitments at a time.
This is a contract position.
This position works in collaboration with the Executive Director, Program Director, and Health Office Coordinator to ensure the health and safety of all program participants, staff, and volunteers. The Health Care Provider will oversee:
- The organization, management, and distribution of medications
- Manage the safe collection and storage of medications
- Work in collaboration with other Health Care Providers and possible student nurses to ensure the health and well-being of our participants
- Administer medications
- Administer first aid
- Operate under the standing orders of our overseeing Physician
- Work with the Executive Director, Program Director, and Health Office Coordinator to ensure protocols for sick and injured participants are managed.
- Operate as key role in Emergency Action Plan and Crisis Response Plan
- Other duties as assigned.
